    I'd like to know too.
The plastic acerbis ones I'm using are unobtrusive when in dirt but are worthless and get in the way while on road.

I bought the risers from Rocky Mountain ATV/MC... they were the Tusk Universal bar risers, but I don't think they make them anymore. Last I heard they were "re-designing" them and would offer a new version. :dunno

the pegs were from D2Moto- an ebay seller. I know Codys and Mommer bought them, too... and they were something like $16 plus shipping... they work great!

Fellas, I juuuust barely had enough room to squeeze the stock clutch cable to reach up on the Rox Risers. They didn't bind at the time but eventually frayed from a year's use.
Anybody know if clutch cables from a Xr650 might be a tad longer?
Just need another inch. -ok let's keep the 'inch' comments aside!

    What an awesome machine!

My '01 XR400R has been neglected for the last year. Was outside sitting under a waterproof cover (it wasn't waterproof!) since August '08.

5th kick it started! Old fuel and plugs!

    What an awesome machine!

I was thinking the same thing - front end just a touch low and form that's not terribly confidence-inspiring... so did you make it across?

Thanks for the info on the footpegs and risers...and for starting this thread.
For any of you who have had your kickstand bracket rip off, did you just weld it back in place, covereing the frame hole. Or did you do something to strengthen the weak spot while welding back to the frame?
btw: I'm looking for a welder.
    Thanks
    E

XR400 in Northeastern Mexico. Performed flawlessly, blasting away at 80mph on open hwy and sliding around canyon roads with nothing but rocks and cactus to slow a 50 ft fall.
