on the Honda 750 rig... Pretty rig. If the kids aren't gone, don't sell her. Our rig is our family RV, with the emphasis on recreational for the kids and me. Them's my 2 cents.
83vf - I would guess the rig is worth about $3500-$4000. Bike = $2000 Chair = $1500-$2000 Kind of hard to guess with just one pic. It could be worth more to the one buyer that really digs it. Although the bike is low miles, people don't like lined gas tanks. Just me free thoughts on it. Worth what you paid Enjoy the kids. They grow up fast.
it's been a series of fits and starts but here's the first side car rig I'm going to ride...and my friends who helped me put it back together... It's a 1990 Harley Ultra Classic with an Ultra side car as well. I'm also building a BMW R75 with a Velorex you'll see more about in the short future
Took a trip down to the Ridge Motorsports Park yesterday to take a look at what may be my next money loosing scheme. Good people, friendly and keen to get other rigs out there. I need to find me a monkey prepared to do this ...
I do a little monkeying for a buddy who races a P3 rig. Depending on how often you plan on racing you might want to try and line up multiple people who are able to step in for monkey duty. Its a lot of fun and a interesting challenge.
Last trip for a while as the lower end started knocking this morning. Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
Hom many miles Cleatus ? I'll bet it's more than a few, I won't look for you at the WI Guzzi rally this weekend Is that your Pete in the background ?
Hope you get the rig back on the road soon. I haven't had an opportunity to see the new body & paint in person. Today, Hugh & I led some fellows from the local BMW club for a breakfast ride to the "CAST R CAFE" in Castor, Louisiana (Hugh's rig is behind the 2-wheelers in front of the sign): And spotted this (58-60?) Lincoln at the Max Lawson wood sculpting shop in Ringgold, Louisiana:
We saw you parked in that space reserved for sidecars yesterday. Had the dogs loaded in ours. By the time we peeded them behind McDonalds, you were gone.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/378dw4dsny6dd55/DSCN1779.JPG This is our current demo bike. It is a 2014 R1200GSA, The sidecar is our Expedition sidecar. We widened the front end of the bike while reducing trail. This allows for lighter steering due to the reduced trail but it also allowed us to make up a custom hub running Ducati Rotors such that the wheel now on the front is a BMW GWA Rear wheel so now we have all three wheels we can interchange. We also added two WARN brand 3500lbs winches. The bike and sidecar were painted a BMW automotive color, the seat on both the bike and the sidecar were upholstered to match. The bike has 2 Trail Tech LED lights and the sidecar has 4 more of the same lights. When we painted the bike we also painted the saddle bags which are set up such that you can either have the inboard saddle bag or the spare wheel. The sidecar has seat heat, BMW power outlet, Cig lighter power out and two USB ports. It also has BMW turn signals on the sidecar as well as a BMW tail light. And a 1.75 gallon RotoPax with locks. We are running 3 Karoo 3 tires plus a spare all on BMW GSA Wheels. Jay G DMC sidecars www.dmcsidecars.com 866-638-1793

From our breakfast ride this weekend - all that's left of the former general mercantile store in Gloster, Louisiana:
Took my wife out for our first decent ride yesterday up in the hills. Was a bit chilly. But she had a blanket and her own heated grips. All was good. I know the snow was a bit light, but it was cold anyway. All in all a good day, and the boss said she will come out again with me.
