Hey All... I did a quick search on this site but didn't see any specific posts about this, so here I go. I just bought a 1992 Yamaha WR200. The bike is mechanically very sound but I do need to get some new plastics. I have searched Google and can't really seem to come up with anything. From what I can gather, the US only imported this bike for a couple of years (1990-1994.) As such, there don't seem to be many aftermarket parts. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, JEFF
Good luck. I had one of these, loved the crap out of it. Great bike and good suspension. Aftermarket parts are non existant though. Stil a great bike.
actually wr200 is hell popular is Singapore. try this forum called slackriders.com ( sorry if im stepping on anyone;s toes over here.. just want to help). u can also try checking up on ebay(Singapore) ive had 3 wrs! and love them to bits! they have quite a few aftermarket parts. i had a full Pro Circuit system on it with V-FORCE reed valves as well.. flew like a bitch on steroids! cheers!
Thanks Keling! I checked out the site and it is loaded with people riding the WR200. Hopefully someone over there can point me in the right direction. All the best, JEFF
Let us know if you find anything. I have a DT200 which is pretty much the same bike and I also could use new plastics. I checked with Yamaha and they are no longer available.
