Spotted this enterprising fellow at a field day in Seymour (Australia) today. Obviously combining two of his passions is working out well for him, I couldn't get near for all the people crowding around to buy coffee! He had it well set up, with an iPad on the bars and a change holder above the instruments. I am guessing the bike is an SR500 but not 100% sure. Definitely a single. I thought it was a great idea :)
SR500 running a dusting's replica chair. Neat setup I take it that the pic' below shows his trailer or what gets put on it ?
Didn't see a trailer anywhere but I would assume there is one for the cooler and umbrella and other parifinalia to go on
My wife and kids were at that Farming Expo while I was slaving away at work and they never thought to mention there was a guy selling coffee out of an Outfit:huh I did a bit of searching and it seems the owner has made a really good website with a run down on his Outfit and business http://crankcoffee.com.au/the-caffeine-racer/
Neat, there was a guy at the mega Harley dealer here with a similar outfit but on a Harley trike. He was selling coffee, hot dogs, etc and doing a brisk business.
There's a pic on Sams website under "events" at the Sprout market and it shows his trailer. (not a great pic, just a tail end shot)
Cool idea and set up. I'm pretty sure between the large hack, coffee making paraphenalia and 100 liters of water in the sidecar , sporty riding is out of the question. Someone in the U.S. should do this.
I don't suspect he goes anywhere in a hurry when fully loaded & with the trailer on, but it's a fun concept none the less and he ws certainly popular on the day
You missed a good day, sort of like a country show (fair for our us brethren) with more of the stuff I like and none of the stuff I don't.
The former USA importer of the Urals CMSI made a couple of units like this that fit into the Ural cargo sidecar. We built a fleet for selling ice cream www.coolcyclesicecream.com and are now building an ice cream vending rig around a BMW 650 Scooter. Jay G DMC sidecars www.dmcsidecars.com 866-638-1793
