I know it's about the "skin" we choose, but I can't see that black text either.

If there were a color that was darker than black,,
then you could paint the bathroom that color,,and paint all the trim and fixtures black,,to brighten things up!:deal

I think the problem is the 'content of his character, not the color of his skin'.

This is like a school snow day make up!
We get to celebrate Bob Marley Birthday, The Ides of March [15th] and St Patrick's Day all at the same time!

TENTH annual bob marley's birthday celebration, Sunday, 03/16/2014

    bob marley 02/06/1945

need an excuse for a sunday ride!

    here is one!

Sunday MARCH 16 2014 @ eleven forty-five am. Meet and celebrate bob marley's birthday @ ft hoskins park, hoskins or.

this is the tenth year! It has been a lot of fun.

this is a no host event. Riders will bring their own food, plates, utensils, coffee cup and music to participate. On site: A picnic table, charcoal and grill to prepare your celebratory dinner. If you want to share food, bring something everyone will enjoy! Each rider should bring a piece of firewood!

directions: Head west from corvallis or on highway 20. Go through philomath and stay on hwy 20 a few miles. Turn off at wren or onto or hwy 223.

hwy 223 goes n towards kings valley and eventually dallas or.

follow hwy 223 approx 6 miles n. Turn left to hoskins. There is a rural fire station opposite the turn. Ft hoskins park sign is about 1/4 mile just after the lh turn off hwy 223. Proceed west and follow signs to park.

the approximate gps coordinates are: latitude: 44.675397, longitude: -123.4542703)

use first gear at park entrance. It is paved, but steep with a sharp rh turn almost immediately. Once past that, you will be rewarded at the top of the hill.

this is a newly designated benton county park. Ft hoskins was sited there from 1856 to 1866.

    hope to see you there!

disclaimer: This is a fun event. Celebrating bob's birthday in no way condones drug use, illegal items or supports his way of life. We picked bob because it was the only other significant event listed on the search engine! Ja mon!

Took a ride out to the Fort to get a feel for a return trip. Almost got me a deer. One of the fastest launching deer I have seen. Another time when two deer come onto the road in front of me and I go in between them.:eek1:eek1
Had a nice return trip better suited for longer days and warmer weather, but a nice ride anyway. Might be the best ride this year yet.:wink:

Doesn't look good for Chip Seal's lucky streak with the weather. Forecast for the area has a total accumulation of 5 to 13 inches of snow ON TOP OF the 8 inches already there. Then there's the predicted ICE of 1/4" today, 1/4" tonight, 1/4" on Saturday.

I've only got one set of chains, would they be better on the front or the rear of a 4x4??

Not looking promising. The best place for chains is hanging on the garage wall. If you decide you really have to put them on your rig. Put them on the Front Axle, especially with a Diesel.

It has Snowed continuously since 0730 here. They are calling for a 100% chance of freezing rain tomorrow without a substantial increase in temperature. Even if Sunday dawns at 70 degrees and Sunny the roads are still going to be treacherous. Traction Devices are required in front of our house right now and they are requesting essential travel only. They just got done extracting one of the Rescue rigs out of the ditch. Sunday doesn't look promising for us at this point.

The Jamaican Bobsled Team is in Sochi. No help to us this Sunday. I decided to CANX the event for 02/09/13.

We will work something out in the next couple of months!

Still my odds are 1 out of ten CANX for bad weather! LOL

    Thanks for all the support.

Drove my old Volvo 122s back from CB/NB back during the big snow/freeze in '90 over Walton Pass, with nearly 15" drifts at the top. I was the only car on 126 for miles. I was telling Sheri we'd probably have a long walk if it decided to get stuck.

    We got home OK.

    Canceled?

    Do people cancel Christmas?

    Or Flag Day?

    Or Boxing Day?
