last year I think it was 130 miles unassited from BOLA To viscano BD set up a refuel on the longest stage which made it about 100 miles I think .
I used a 5 gal tank and had lots. Mag 7 also had pit services. This year is different so have to wait till course distance comes out but would think nothing less tha 100 miles to safe

    It is a good pick.
If I was riding a small Berg 350
This year I would run Bibs front and Rear JMO

Let me know if you need any help.

I dont know anything about Bibs so just going off what someone else told me but he thought with the amount of paved sections that the rear bib would get hot and start to disentigrate - any thoughts ?

any support crew bringing a radio? i (KK6HVV) plan to bring my HT or mobile.

though i'm working for a rider, many of us would not hesitate to help a fellow support member who's in a bind especially out there.

if we can all agree to use a specific frequency (different from norra /weatherman) that will be great.

    found this on Norra's website

    3.3 Radio Equipment
All competitors should carry a VHF radio able to transmit and receive on the official NORRA frequency, 151.625MHz. Any
radio equipment is strictly prohibited from interfering with or disrupting event communications on all frequencies allotted to
the amateur radio band, public service band, marine band and aircraft band as permitted by FCC rules.

NORRA uses the 151.625 MHz frequency, commonly known as Weatherman. Outboard linear amplifiers with an output over 25watts are
prohibited. An outboard linear amplifier is a device that boosts the power of the radio and is connected between the radio
and antenna. Included in this rule is SEC8 in its entirety.

Yes thats right . good quality tube though I use michelin uhd. The melt down part on the rear was the reason I went with the tube. I never have ran a rear mouse so I cant say if its true or not but Its worked for me.

Steve - How fast/easily can you change a rear tube? I run mousse front and rear, I put 1400 miles on a rear mousse over Thanksgiving, which is a colder time of year, it was soft, but not destroyed. But I ride like a pussy. Do you have spare wheels? You're doing support with us right? Tim's team will mount the mousse for ya if you don't have spare wheels and are changing rear tires. I dig the mousse. Its one less thing to worry about. But i'm slow changing a tube too.
