Helmet storage for Zuma 125

I'm thinking about getting a Zuma 125cc. It says on the yamaha website that there is storage for a full face helmet. I currently own an HCJ-CL15 XXL full face helmet. Any owners actually try to stick a big helmet in there?

Open seat- place helmet in storage area- close lid. Jump up and down on seat until you hear "click."

I wear an EXO-1000 Scorpion in XXL and it will not fit under the Zuma's seat. It barely fits under the Tmax's seat, in fact.

You're not jumping hard enough then.

you can jump all you want ..... no way, no where, no how ! You are never going to get that helmet to fit unless you put it through a shreader.....

How do you open the seat?

I have the exact same helmet in the exact same size. Having tried to fit it into a friend's Zuma 125, it is not even close. No way in heck that it will fit.

But then again, large, extra large or extra extra large full face or modular helmets are usually too big for onboard storage unless it is at least a 40-45 liter cube storage area.

Why not just use the helmet lock under the left front of the seat?
