I can't seem to find the following information discussed anywhere in the forums despite an exhaustive search.

I want to get a set of Caribou Case 36L Storm iM2600 cases with their racks - which I believe are rebranded Hepco/Becker.

It looks like the cases are mounted up higher with other rack systems, in particular the SW Motech ones.

I would like the cases to be mounted up high to maximize ground clearance and look more awesome.

My question is, does anyone know this to be true? Will the cases indeed be mounted lower with the Caribou/HepcoBecker racks and higher with the SW Motech?

All input is appreciated. Pics greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

You can set the cases as high as you want if you order them un-drilled. When we drill them they won't touch the ground before the rider foot peg does. Photos you see out there may have the cases in different positions depending on how people drilled them. If you want us to drill them so they sit higher in the bike no problem, just call and let us know.
