Crossing Alabama diagonally from north of Pensacola toward Tupelo Ms next week sometime.
Looking for pavement, but backroads and anything sweeping or twisty or interesting. From Tupelo heading down to New Orleans via partly the Trace, but need advice on the Alabama part.

    Thanks in advance

Consider picking up Hwy 69 around Jackson (North of Mobile). 69 is a pretty decent road for South Alabama. It will take you up to Tuscaloosa or Jasper. Cut over to Tupelo from there.
