Belt I'm wearing now is ~30 years old... dunno' who made it.
I think in another 10 years I'll probably be wearing suspenders... :1drink

You can get more from a specialty maker, but check prices.

I bought a belt from Structure 16 years ago. Actually thinking about it, I got it as a free promo. All leather, plated bronze buckles. Has been through salt water and cold...with everything in between.

I'm a fan of many things in the DTC catalog, the "Lifetime Belt" is no exception. It's a fine piece of handiwork and is breaking in fine after several years of weekly use.

Where's the KLR in all of you? He said LL Bean, guaranteed for life (If you're ever unhappy......).

Send it back and get another one, and another one if necessary. :D

Go to a police supply place they have all kinds of leather belts plenty strong enough to hold all kinds of crap. They come in all kinds of styles and colors for the detective crowd and last forever.

I ordered a belt from the Amish belt maker on ebay for $32.00. I should be to me by next week. I noticed that Saddleback Leather has some discontinued stuff, including belts, in the Dave's Deals section. One can save 10-25% if they have your size. Belts there now are a bit too big for me, but look good for 25% off retail.
    Thanks for the recommendations, Larry

You probably can't go wrong with Amish made goods.

I usually pick up a couple belts when I go to Mexico. They last about 5 years, and my old belts always get used to hold duffel bags on the bike.

I received the Amish made belt from the fleabay seller mentioned in this thread. Great quality belt, thick, nice buckle, well worth the $31.00. I think some of the other belt sellers mentioned - Saddleback, etc., get twice as much money for what cannot be twice as good a product. Thanks to whomever put the link to that seller in this thread. Was reading this thread, wondering if anyone would give kudos to Duluth Trading Company. I agree with the lifetime belts. Own one in both black and brown. Rock solid construction.
