I saw somebody doing this in the GS thread, and was interested about our bikes. I believe I am one of the youngest dr650 owners on this site, just turned 23. Most of my friends ride ducatis or some form of sport/naked bike. They usually try to convince me to sell my dr... That will never happen!

I turned 40 this past summer. I've been wanting a DR for several years. I finally added one to the stable last September. I may get a new one, as well as a few other bikes, this year or next. I have to buy a house first though. The 1-car garage at my apartment is getting crowded.

Well, I am 72, got my 2009 in October 2010. After riding mine my son age 33 picked up his 2007.
My DR 650 is in Seattle, I am now in the Philippines. I am in the process of importing it here, something that is not easy.

Rode my CB250 Adventure bike 35K before getting the DR. The little Honda twin has 4" of fork travel.

I'm 63 and got my 2006 DR 3 1/2 years ago with 4K miles. It now has 50K miles and still going.

65 years old here. I am thinking about a more dirt worthy dualsport but I may keep the DR for longer adv rides. It is as good as a 950 KTM on every surface but freeways.
I have the bike completely stripped for painting the frame and I'm going to shorten the travel on the RMZ450 forks and change fork oil to a lighter weight while I put everything back together. The frame will be gloss black hammer tone this time.

    41. I bought it when I was 37 after owning several KTM LC4's. I just picked up motarded KTM 625 SXC but am considering keeping my DR. I always say that if I were only able to have one bike for the rest of my life it would be a modded DR650.
