    I'm jealous of your weekend.

Oh well, someone has to see the cool music and eat the good fish.

I always enjoy hitting Blue C Sushi on Fremont. Probably not "the best" but it's kinda locally hip AND they have cream puffs from a local Japanese bakery on the conveyor. There's a new one near the airport in SouthCenter now, too.
Umi's sake bar downtown is probably better; waaay more trendy.

Next chance I get, I'm hitting Shiro's as the chef suggests! :thumb

i've been to a ton of them and the two best are chiso in fremont

    http://www.chisoseattle.com/

    and kisaku in tangletown

    http://www.kisaku.com/kisaku/

also decent is mashiko in west seattle:

chiso i think is the best though..

one place that just opened in ballard is good - i've only eaten at the bar and had some saki - but the food looks good. I think it's called moshi moshi - they have a great saki menu and lots of cute girls hang out in the bar (so this might be the deciding factor..

Enough so to make a guy tie his V-Strom to a tree whilst taking pics. :deal
Where'zat sooshee place, anyway? Are you aware that there are three xlnt sushi places in Kaua'i, and at least two private homes serving mind-bendingly good renditions? Slack key and a plate o' kelp = good times, but you'd cry if I sent you those pics.
