Decided to go on short ride with "the professor". He separated a collar bone skiing in January, so wanted a short ride to see how it would fare.. Quick spin up to Webster pass to see if the rumors might be true that the snow on back side may not melt till Sept. Parked at Peru creek trailhead. just below Montezuma. had some one that wanted to make sure we unloaded the bikes correctly. the snow field leading down towards hand cart gulch looking to the north towards redcone and across the valley.. the trail leading to Radical hill also a drift blocking the trail, isn't it almost August??? WTF..lol views were bearable.. just barely... There was room for maybe 10 jeeps yet they decided to use the tundra instead. Must have been ignorance or lack of oxygen.... you decide.... Thanks for going along!
