    Yes thats right, I am the original Happy Trails guy with Scott. Lost touch with him for about 15 years and now we're back at it. I haven't owned a dual sport since then and just aquired an 06 CFR450X street legal bike yesterday. (Rekluse):clap

    We rode today Apple Valley and Barstow. Extrordinary riding conditions today. Snow covered single tracks all morning, very technical. You see, Scott isn't happy until he finds somethibg you can't do. Thats what makes his rides awesome. That fricken Rekluse, trial tires 250 he has doesn't stop moving forward.

    jonh is on the fence about coming to his first ADV NooB ride, he thinks he will be riding pavement all three days, seems he found someone's last year ride report that stated they did 850 miles of pavement:cry and that's what he thinks we will be doing!
    so lets give him some unsight that will not be the case!
    so lets break him in slowly:wink:

    there is some pavement in-between the good stuff and DV is just massive and beautiful and we're gonna have a great time!:freaky

    I'm leaning more on the side of going now, its just that 200 miles a day sounds brutal. Call me a pussy all you want, I only do what I want to do.
