I live in Phx. Today, fairly early in the morning, I was on my way to the Bashas store to get some donuts for my "buds" at Motoghost, who take care of me very well. I'm in the left turn lane at Cave creek road & Union Hills (for those of you who happen to live here). As I'm sitting there, a black ZR Nissan something pulls up behind me. While I'm waiting for oncoming traffic to clear, he honks his horn twice, then lays on it, expecting me to turn in front of oncoming traffic. When the traffic had cleared, I turned left & gave him the finger as I passed. As luck would have it, we got stopped at a light just past the high school on that road. He in the right lane, me in the left. He rolled down his window and said "You need to learn how to ride, Dickhead". My first reaction was to laugh. Then I told him "I was about to pull into the Bashas parking lot a 1/2 mile down the road & if he'd care to follow me, we could probably sort our our differences pretty quick?" Of course, he went straight, or perhaps turned right on 7th. st., I didn't notice. The only thing I remember about his license plate is that it said "Veteran", maybe he was suffering from PTSD, untreated. This incident could have turned ugly..............I just don't get it. But, I'm sure, given the chance, I'd probably hurt him rather badly.

Better that the trouble was averted especially if you were carrying your Beretta.

This should be in regionals or the perfect line. That being said, no such thing as road rage on a motorcycle.

Sell all your motorcycles right now and never ride again. Thanks for putting the rest of our lives in danger, butthole. You couldn't just laugh and ride off?

20 years of martial arts training as taught me, no matter how tough you are, there is always someone tougher than you.

Confrontation with that guy would have been bad for both parties. If he's really that much of an asshole he'll eventually get his.

I'm glad you were able to walk away(ride away) unharmed.

You totally would have cleaned his clock. You then could have pissed awesomeness onto his mangled body. Then you could have taken your bad ass inside for doughnuts.

I would be more apt to carry bear spray than a gun with me on the bike. Non lethal force.

OP, I've been in your shoes. And on occasion, responded even more aggressively. I don't do that anymore - at least not lately. Believe me, I feel better letting it pass. No high blood pressure and I don't bring the rage home for my family to deal with.

I won't back down, but I won't escalate it. Though sometimes it's tempting.

    Medication helps. :lol3
