What size 705 are you running up front, 120/90 or 130/80? I really like those tires.

Pete, They are kinda cool looking tires , reminds me of a dirt tracker. The front is a 120/90, the rear 150 /70. Motosport had a combo deal for $166.00 for both.

I thought my FS was pretty tall geared and changed to a 42 on the back and really liked the change in the bike. More low end grunt without really sacrificing highway speed. Still can cruise 70mph with no problem. I'm bolting on a 45 this weekend to try out. Don't really think I can go much lower without severly compromising top end speed.

I really like them. I run a 110/19 705 on the front and a real dirt track race tire in back on a wide 19.

I agree , 14/38 is a little too tall. I already had those on the shelf so i figured I would give it a try. I have tried 15/ 45 & it worked well. I think I will try 14/45 or 13/45 if they fit one of my chains. I use 13/50 for offroad & have another chain for this but its too low for backroad burning. I rung it out in top gear last night & the engine was still pulling hard when i started to get handlebar oscillation . I guess I would need a steering stabilizer & maybe a more aerodynamic front fender. I dont know how fast this was as I havent swapped over the speedo trigger magnet yet.. Somewhere around the ton mark I think. :eek1

KTM 350 EXC-F, supermoto setup from Warp 9. This is the bike I've been looking for since I started riding, other than the seat. :D

I know what you mean about the seat, that is my only limiting factor now. I will remedy that soon. you have tons of seat options for your 350, me ..not so much.[IMG]

Thanks for the tip. I am after a second seat to keep this one for a spare & stock appearance.

Does anyone here have a link to a company making 14 or 16mm triple trees for the newer ktm exc's? I have a 14 500exc set up for supermoto and I'm looking to lower the offset from the stock triples. Any help is appreciated. Here is how she sits now.[IMG]

Have you thought about an SMC front fork? The axle is right below the fork, not in front like on the dirt bikes. KTM makes an adjustable triple clamp KTM Part Number: 7650119903504. With both you'd get a faster steering front end.

Those triples would only work for me if I did the smc forks but I'm considering it as an option now. Just don't know if I want to dump that much cash into it right now but I'm sure it would handle nice. I was thinking of forks and trees off of a husaberg fs model as well.

The other nice thing with the SMC front end is the 320mm front disc and radial brake. Makes for less brake fade on a racetrack, etc.
