Around the 3rd week of September, the tallgrass prairie changes its hues dramatically. From early Spring until now, the hills have been a deep emerald green, rivaling the color of the best kept golf courses .... only this area of Kansas encompasses tens of thousands of square miles.

Worth riding if you're ever into a different sort of technicolor ride!

Hope you enjoy! ...... Wind Sprinter

nice photo/video work, as usual, Roger!

I tried to make it to one of your rides mid September a few years ago, but somehow got off on the calender and showed up at Emma Chase's a week early. :lol3

    take care.

Love that video. That reminded of a trip I took a few years back. Left Wichita one morning on my CB360. Took the less traveled two lanes and dirt roads all the way to Alma KS. What a fantastic trip through part of the Flint Hills that was.

It looks like the Flint Hills are just as beautiful in the fall as they are in the spring. Looking forward to the next Stampede.
