Not sure which is less interesting: the cars or the track.

Danica at the front and everybody behind her in the new cars. Should be an interesting first few laps.

If a guy wins driving a Ford does he have to say, "the Ecoboost really performed today..." ?? :huh

When does the race actually start? I have the TV on in the background and this pre-game is painful.

Stupid young driver who they want to play up as quite the rebel... within strict guidelines of course. Now a lame country band...

    What is actual race time?

Let me go out on a limb with a prediction. Hundreds of boring laps were they go on an on about pit stop strategy, punctuated by a few big wrecks which is all anybody cares about anyway.

I'll skip the race, watch the highlight reel, which is just the wrecks and maybe the checkered flag, and save myself a few hours.

Just hope nobody dies for the sake of entertaining the masses.

I just want to see the first few laps. Yep, that is one of my biggest beefs with Nascar (one of) boring meaningless lap after boring meaningless lap.

Someone still has to sing America the Beautiful, God Bless America, Hasn't God Been Good to America, God Loves America The Most plus the Star Spangled Banner before the Blessing of the Cars and the Prayer.

In the Racing thread on this I believe Wx was saying it had been noticeably faster in the earlier races this week.

Looks like the lower line is a fair bit back.
