Everyone buys shit they don't need, and never end up using. With the amount of dough we all seem to be dropping on farkles, upgrades, and whatever else new is coming out, there must be some major duds in the back of the closets.

I myself am guilty of electronics hoarding. I have 2 backup portable battery packs, not including my portable jump-starter, which does the same exact thing. I've blown far too much money carting around and storing a useless 1980 GS850G that I took apart 7 years ago and still haven't put back together.

Oh, no ex-wifes and exgfs. Keep that to the basement! :rofl

I did post this in equipment, not bikes, but I figured that would show up anyway.

Funny thing is that I just bought an R1200gs, used. Truth is that it wasn't even on my list of potential bikes because I didn't think I could afford it. And now here I am trying to buy some farkles, and jesus-fucking-christ, why is everything so expensive?

My Vstrom was a frugal machine, with frugal upgrades. So really, I'm fishing for a way to own an r1200gs without draining my wallet.

It is not easy to justify all conditions in the title of this thread without some dose of bad luck. In my case I was surprised by the extend of the damages relative to the severity of the impact.

    non-moto? definitely the dinovo mini:

battery duration sucks, and battery age too. and not enough important keys, too often hitting some combo for ordinary typing.

    Moto-related? none.
