You're not alone. I like their "Fat Bob" and the "Switch-back" but, my wish is for something with no chrome at all since I commute all year/weather long and salt eats up chrome.
Ha ha!! That's what I did a year ago. Now I have a Harley. But...I LOVE the radio. Got speakers...got headphones into my helmet...listen to weather reports....music...am talk radio....makes long trips really nice. Cakeeater
I ride like an idiot on my 'strada and tonight when I'm cruising for once, I get busted. I got the lecture but no ticket but he did call me Sir while I got the stink eye from him. Very depressing on all counts. So yeah, maybe it's time to get the RT and cut back on the lane splitting anarchy the MTS seems to bring out in me. A track bike to let off steam is going to be essential though
I'm kind of out of the loop on non sport bike demand - is this one going to be hard to get your hands on in the beginning? I remember dealing with that on my S1K, even tough it is a 2012 and was out 3 years already, the demand for it was off the charts.
Yeah those 'conversations' can be quite sobering can't they. Age brings a different reaction, when younger we are just annoyed at being caught, a little older and we think that maybe the officer has a point. But I'm sure you know that having a RT doesn't necessarily make you slower, I know it cuts down the wheelies though. You have me worried that my inner hooligan has not grown up yet, we'll see when I get my multi.
In the most perfect of worlds where I could have anything I wanted: a Britten V1000 In an unlikely but possible world: a Ducati D16RR DesmoSedici, and/or a Bimota Tesi 3D In real life, that I genuinely probably will buy: a Ducati 998 and/or a Norton 750 Commando For my daily use, I can't find a better bike than my good old Ducati Monster, although if BMW took that nice new six they've got and built a naked version -- a K1600R -- I'd be very likely to buy that. I have been testriding stuff for fun the last few years. Below is my list so far of what I've tested, and what I still want to test.
