That's the best color IMHO, and the mods you did are the exact same mods I
    would do!

    Amazing scoot!
    Congrats!

Nice scooter! I can definitely see one of these 300s in my future. All the displacement and power of most maxiscooters but without the grandpa styling, extra length, and excess weight.

How is that Brembo caliper? Looks like a beast!

The Brembo caliper is a lot better than the stock caliper that came with the bike. It's probably the best mod I've done on the scooter :)

Just installed the flyscreen. I tested it out today riding in the freeway, and I like it better than without! :)

Nice! I will be trading in my Silver Wing for a Shadow Aero (love the retro style) in the spring. WAS going to give SW to fiancee after she takes the rider course but she saw one of those Vespas at the dealer when I went to drop off SW for service and wants one. They have a cool retro look and the engine's big enough to get some oomph. (wonder if she realizes no bike in our stable is allowed to be bone stock?)

That's what I wanted to hear, thanks man!

After 100km I was wondering if a caliper upgrade would help the front of the X8 (single 260mm disc and small caliper).
I spose the 6-piston 'Busa Tokico in the shed is a bit of overkill for it though..........:rofl

It will be interesting to see if your experience turns out like mine. I am having so much fun on my SYM Citycom 300i that the my V-strom 1000 is mostly gathering dust unless I go on a big trip. Lucky for me it was paid for long ago or I would be really choked.

That is a sweeet scooter. Unfortunately a brand new one here goes for over $8500 OTD, so as much as I like it, I won't be buying one.

My first Vespa... Front Massoli shock, rear Jettin bushings, Stebel horn, Top Box LED signals, Jettin bar ends and CRG Lane Splitters.

Loving the OP's front brake mod... Next up will be rear Bitubo shocks.

So much fun up in the canyons it ain't funny :evil
