Hi, We have two guys with BMW 650 GS Dakar that are planning a trip is central-Asia. The current plan is to start in Oslo, Norway and drive through to Turkey, Georgia, Azerbajan, (Iran), Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and back. However to shorten the trip we are assessing the possibility to ship the bike to a city in the region around Tajikistan, Azerbajan etc and travel back from there or ship the bikes to Bulgaria or Turkey and start from there. If anyone know of someone that we can share a container or shipment with please let us know. We can drive the bikes to any place in North-Europe We are planning to start the trip around May/June 2013.
