Stumbled across this very terse ad on the New Hampshire Craigs list:

    http://nh.craigslist.org/mcy/1576028835.html

    The full text as follows:

"OFF ROAD TYPE SIDECAR WITH DUELL(sic..) SHOCKS AND BRAKES CALL MARK603-249-6758"

He's asking $300, it was posted today 01/29/2010 at 0830 hours.

Right concept, right price, wrong coast - mutter, mutter, mutter

Could be a hoot on a KLR, or DR 650 'tho.

    Cheers

    Jim

Just so the Left Coasters don't feel left out, here's a truely terrifying way to immolate yourself and one Insignificant Other while getting very, very dirty in the process - a CraigsList post from Sacra-pimento, CA:

    http://inlandempire.craigslist.org/mcy/1572703107.html

    It's for a Kawa-sickie kz1000 setup as a Speedway rig:

Even the lousy CL pictures strike FEAR into my heart - it looks like the unholy love child of Mad Max and Raymond Lowey - and I bet it goes like the clappers of hell - until it's time to do something skanky, like turn right, or stop....

    Cheers

I just got a Hannigan bandito HP rig. I don't need 2 rigs. So the terreplane needs a new home. Great handeling hack, I love this set up and never thought I would ever sell it. Click on the for sale for photos of b4 paint and after. It was on such great shape I hated to paint it. PM me if ya want it or need more photos, questions etc. I'm in Bloomington Indiana.

I'm thinking of selling the body off my Ural so that I can get one of Claude's aluminum "Ural style" bodies. My body is in mint condition, and has a rugged T- handled locking trunk, and hand made extra-heavy duty trunk hinge. Check out a picture of it on the "Ron-dee-vous" thread in hacks. I'm keeping the stainless steel luggage racks though. If anybody might be interested send me a PM.

Yeah, but the seller called it an R90/S and didn't respond to my cautionary email that it didn't look like any R90S I'd ever seen.

The seller does seem a bit off and is very excited about the "silver horns" but is is ID'd as a "Ultra Rare" R90/6.

Could be a good find if he can be talked down a bit, seems to be in a hurry to sell it. - Pete

I swear it said "R90/S" before, so maybe the seller did respond to my email. Note that someone went to the trouble of posting a correction called "Ultra-rare R90/S" in which mild correction was offered.

It does look like a good find if someone can punch through the seller's hyperbole by a couple thousand.
