Knives Ship Free is showing that they start at $161.

It's a small knife though depending on your hand size that might be an issue. That one of the reasons I really like the STS-5. which is a much better fit in the hand (at least for me). Something I really like about that web site is that they show someone holding each of the knives so you get a good idea

My buddy Westy has a Fox River Recurve with Big Horn Sheep scales that's just amazing. I'll have him post up a pic or two after lunch.

I got mine on closeout for around $130. It was among the last of their first run of 50 for KSF.

Take your pick from this run: http://www.knivesshipfree.com/index.php?cPath=465_775

Keep in mind the recurve is a little harder to sharpen. This one in particular isn't especially difficult, though.

I prefer the slightly longer handle on the recurve vs. the regular Fox River, which has the steel loop on the end.

It's not the same thing...I don't think I can afford (both money and use wise) a bladesmith art piece anyway so I can live with that. And drool over.

But I can hardly look at a nice knife that I could actually buy without...well...wanting to buy it.
