Looks a great deal like a Moto Guzzi Griso, (except with less cool)

The whole point is that you can replace most of the components with custom bits (including ones from specific 3rd party vendors, apparently) s- the bike was made so that it can be easily personalized. There are at least 4 different rear end configuration just from stock. :deal

What happened to the stainless tank?

Interesting, but I wouldn't get rid of my R1200R for it like I would for something like the K1300R. I guess I'm just not that "into" the retro boxer look.

I imagine you'd get some attention riding around without the pillion seat, though, if that's your bag.

Why does the Motorrad refuse to black out the entire drivetrain...?

Maybe they have a warehouse full of those slate grey swingarm/driveshafts.

Interesting. I don't think it looks retro at all.

I'm ambivalent about it. It's ok, but I like the looks of the R1200r better also.

Dang, I actually think its quite the looker.

I can see it being beautiful with the right tail/exhaust combination. And some bar end mirrors, of course.

    Nice work, BMW. :clap

Any one notice the overuse of 3/4 helmets, flannel and urban settings in the press shots? :rofl

I see that in a lot of press shots nowadays :puke1.

Still, that bike is awesome. I'd take one in the blue from the current 1200r, please.
