I think part of the eagles issues were the fact they paid big bucks to get the guys that got the big bucks and backed it down...like others said Reid and such just got lazy and the team needed a wake up call.

I'm guessing that JeMarcus Russell won't get a serious look by any team.

Oh, BS. He isn't coming back. He has the worst moniker to hang on a player: lazy. Teams will take dumb players. They will take injured players. They will take criminals. Teams don't take lazy players. Randy Moss was hung with occasionally lazy and he was radioactive.

I'd rather see Barret Robbins make a comeback.

LOL---I got a good snicker out of that piece too. If Shanahan saw nothing to resurrect...I doubt anyone else will 2 years later. He is feeding his family with football.....????? He must mean the haul of Davis cash he made away with.

Ryan Leaf may have a better chance. What was that Burt Reynolds movie?

I think he means he is feeding his family with A football.

That wasn't out of line for a first pick in the draft at the time.

Yeah, it wasn't. But that's gotta hurt. Writing that check and getting next to nothing for it probably put Al in the grave a year or two early.

Nah, he did that a few times, he was used to it. Heck, he even paid people just to intentionally irritate them.
