OK, serious question. In reading the code sections offered up I didn't see anything that says you have to pass in the left lane, just something about safely. And what about the roads that are not wide enough to have center markers. What is the proper technique?

OK, I don't want to be a prick about it, but I've been a motorcyclist for 40+ years and a bicyclist for 25 years.
Yeah, I've run into bicyclists who were pricks, but I've run into far more motorists and motorcyclists who were bigger pricks.
Everyone, lose the attitude! If you are in a car, Harley, or Adv bike, ease up! It's not going to cost you 5 seconds for your manlyhood.
Same with bicycles. Share the road.

Mama's day is Sunday so Saturday is probably best for me. Being as I was only there once on a "cough" ATV and ended up getting that stuck shortly after arriving and taking the rest of the day trying to get it out, I have no idea of what it is all about. According to Alan, it's much better than it used to be. I have only been once, this spring, and it is worth the trip. The really gnarly muddy spots mostly have bypases.
