I am on a hunt for some hard leather cases. The style of the teens and early 20's. Anyone ever see some for sale and where.

I've been thinking of making a set for one of my littler bikes. Leather's not hard to work with if you want to make a set. Leather is hardened simply by boiling it in water. 40 seconds is usually all it takes. It does shrink about 25% and it's stiff as a board afterwards so you'll need to do some planning on that.

there's a belt company on eBay called Leather by the Piece that sells their scraps for pretty cheap. Scraps are usually over a foot long and 8 inches wide.
