    Hello Everyone,

My search-foo is weak to say the least, but I did try to no avail.

Does anyone know of a complete kit for a high fender?

    Thanks for any help!

Im not aware of a "complete" kit but I will throw ya a bone here and tell you what I found and have done to mine.

Acerbis Super moto fender....its cheaper than the OEM EXC fender and looks nicer IMHO. Will bolt directly to the under side of the triple, but you may need spacers to angle it properly.

KTM 85SX fork guards....Again, I think Acerbis makes these. They sould bolt almost 100% direct to the forks. You may need to mod it a bit, but not much.

And last but certainly not least, Brake line hose guide. You'll need 2 plus the rubber grommets.

Part numbers from KTM Twins for above guides, grommets and fork guards:
    60013025050 - RUBBER FOR BRAKE HOSE GUIDE03 - QTY 2
    60013025100 - FRONT BRAKE HOSE GUIDE - QTY 2
    5900109400030 - FORK PROTECT. L/S R/S BLACK02 -QTY 1 (BLACK SX85 Fork guards)

    :1drink

EDIT: Dont waste your time or money on the EXC fork guards....they are a PITA to mount and are a bit too high for the standard 990adv fork.....mine kept bottoming out on the fender in the rough stuff and rubbed my fork tub real good. 85SX ones are WAAAAY better.

Not sure if this helps or not. I just put a kit on my 990R and I had purchased the kit from KTM Twins. I think it all was 90 bucks plus shipping. Super cheap in my opinion. Like the previous inventive way of making a bracket for the lower stanchion. It comes with the fender, 2 fork guards and 2 metal brake cable holders. Pretty much bolts up except for the fork guards. Plenty of pages with different interpretations of brackets to hold them in place.

    Cheers
    Brandon

Did I read your thread correctly ? - you have some brackets for the 990 to fit the fork guards suitable for a high fender ?

If that is the case Id be interested in buying them off you.

Do you have a picture and which fork guards are they suitable for ?

    Thanks.

Here is the parts list for when I did mine. Turned out great. Of course, had to make a bracket for the fork guards. I've had no issues with using the EXC guards.

One thing you might want to add is the round plastic guide that will replace the wire version that comes on the 990. It snaps into the same groove. Same part is on all of the KTM dirt bikes. It will prevent rubbing of the guard on the upper fork tubes.
