    Thanks Doug.
It was a good ride, even enjoyed getting wet in two quick showers.
There are tons of great roads around here!

Alright Mike. Looks like you had some nice riding. Maybe if it is still there on my next trip up home I might make that detour. :clap:clap:clap

True. Posted from Glen Lyn so I would only have to backtrack 5 miles of gravel this time. Glad not to have to.

Argh. My FIL is here with us in MD right now. My bike is in TN. The FIL lives very close to there but I won't have time to grab the tag if I have to go via TN from North of DC.

This foot bridge in Jefferson Nat'l Forest is AT the intersection of a hiking trail, Laurel Creek and a 3 digit road, the digits add up to 12.
You won't have to ride through the garden, but you'll have to ride 1 mile of gravel from the north and a bunch from the south.

It's a slow day at work, so I decided to look for this one. I think I found it, but probably no chance that I'll actually get around to riding there.

I kept trying to make Elk Garden Trail off VA 600 near Mt. Rogers work. The Mt. Rogers Recreational area is within the Jefferson National Forest. Laurel Creek is north of Mt. Rogers, but Elk Garden Trail is south. Not only that, but the roads that total 12 just wouldn't fit into the plan at all.

The place I did find works much better for all of the clues. I used Google Maps and zoomed all the way in. Is this it?
