Mid Michigan and the Thumb Photo Tag Game Extravaganza!!!!

This could be fun or it could flop on it's face due to lack of participation. :)

I'm from Gladwin, but to make it more accessible for the Thumb folks, I headed east.

What are the designated boundaries ?

No specific boundary, but I don't think a tag in the UP or Detroit would be appropriate.

Well I propose the following on the map in my signature. Definitely up for debate/discussion. I hope to track all of the tags on it. I basically made the southern barrier on I69/I96 and the northern being the mighty Mac.

I plan to start another game for all of Michigan once I can find an appropriate mascot to use as a geo-caching method for grab/tagging. I wouldn't want anyone to have to miss out on the fun of a tag game.

so here it is. it would be way too easy if I said what mid Michigan metropolis this is in but it is directly kitty-corner to a John Deere dealer. and the ice-cream cones are good, big, cheap and dished out by doable young women.

Edit: I thought the Ruggles ice cream thing would be a hint to narrow it down. Turns out it isn't a great hint, and there are a bajillion JD dealers, so I have no idea where that one is nor do I intend to go to every JD dealer. I'm out. lol

my definition of "doable" would disapoint some, if nobody has an idea in a day or two I will throw out a hint or two.

Yeah, but that sign at least has a city name on it. You're is a store that sells Ruggles ice cream near a John Deere dealer with doable womens. Oh, and there are over 30 JD dealers in the bounderies. About 18 of which are near-ish the area of the other tags

Never been a part off one of these, I dont know how easy or hard it is suposed to be.

My wife says the bars on the windows are screaming "Saginaw".

It can be as difficult as you like it to be. However, usually there is some sort of clue that would give those who don't drive by every day a clue. Something like a store name, or a city is usually very helpful unless it's something very unique that could be found without such info.

Hahahaha. I was thinking the same thing actually. According to the google machine, there are three JD dealers in the Sag Twp. area. However, looking at sat. images, it doesn't appear any of those would have some sort of party store / ice cream shop on an opposite corner.


Edit: Looking at sat. images and such, I'm leaning towards Reese though. However, I don't see Reese needing bars on the doors.

How about what sort of JD dealer is it? Lawn and garden stuff? Large ag stuff? Commercial? This should narrow it down.

I'm super busy right now, but Linwood Michigan has a JD dealer with a store that look very much like that kitty corner. Google Street View FTW.
