    For the 990/950 I think its ATX9BS Length 150MM (5 7/8) Height 110MM Width 85MM (3 1/4)
Except the postive & negative terminals are reversed

Yuasa YTZ14S MF- Stock, but there are many other options & brands available. ATX9 will not deliver enough power- not even enough for a 690. Stick with AGM- GEL or LiFePo not the acid filled ones you'll find discussed in that linked thread. Acid filled don't have the equivalent power output or life expectancy of the AGM- GEL or LiFePo. And the acid filled are not suited to handle heat very well, internal plates break from vibration, bumps & jolts when off roading your 990/950.... And lead acid batteries leak when laying on their side....

Are you sure? As far as I know AGM(absorbent glass matt) battery is also filled with acid as normal acid lead battery(acid remains liquid),the difference is that acid is absorbed in some sort absorbing material to avoid spilling in case the battery becomes damaged.AGM batt. can be bought from the manufacturer filled/sealed or dry with pack of acid and you do the filling at home-have bought one dry AGM Yuasa for my R6 last year and spent half an hour playing with it:wink:.

Some AGM come pre-filled from the supplier, but right, the AGM Yuasa is not. Clarifying my point that the cheaper conventional batteries will not last long in offroad use. AGM or Gel batteries withstand vibration-shock-& heat significantly better than conventional lead acid batteries, dont spill when tipped, hold a static charge longer between uses, and generally have have higher CCA.
