Love it. I'll place a deposit the day the production version is announced for the US.

My 990 Superduke is the most fun that I have ever had on a motorcycle, and this one looks like it could be better. It might just be the only thing that convinces me to trade in my ride!

My thoughts exactly. The new prototype blows my mind! Of course, some concessions will need to be made to make the proto street legal but if this is the path KTM is on I'm in. Also, saw the post saying there's no need for the SD because of the SMT. I've also ridden both bikes and while the SMT is a nice light touring bike it is in my opinion no where near the experience of the Super Duke!

I hope the rear suspension has a linkage unlike the current SD.

Ditto, the 1290 just makes the original that much cheaper. :lol3

That's just a stupid hurdle to make dealers jump.

But, as stated, this should make the 990 even cheaper, which may be good for the brand.

of course it will not, but if it has about 160-165 bhp at the crank it is more than sufficient for me:evil

Maybe it lubes the water pump seals so they don't have to be changed every 10K. :D

If they produce it even close to the prototype the Multi will get traded in for this. :clap
