Let's get our real on. Poll for the men: Your ideal woman isn't a pillion passenger, is she? She's not a lingerie model draped over a chopper. She's a lady who can ride your sorry butt into the ground, go off for a quick scrub at a cold-water tap and show up glowing like a winning lottery ticket.

Post up your partners, wives, friends, mothers, and daughters who ride solo. We don't mind it at all, ladies. It is good to have a bit of huggin' from the pillion, but it's best to see you shining on your own.

Group ride, borrowed bike. She'll ride anything she can get a leg over.

This ain't no cheesecake thread. Real women, real pics, all riders, no bull.

Hey, I recognize Amanda. Her and Will stopped by for a few days here in GA when they were touring North America. We actually gave them those saddle bags as we felt bad for just their milk crates they had. :D

Let me find some of my wife. I have a few good ones.

I'll add another one of Amanda since you posted one

I could probably brag all day on my wife and my wonderful riding partner. ♥ ♥ ♥

A real ugly day to be on dual sports, but lots of fun
    [IMG]

When the tracks are gone, she makes her own tracks
    [IMG]

She follows me when many times she probably shouldn't! :rofl
    [IMG]

But a little mud won't stop her
    [IMG]

She can make everything from a pink scooter
    [IMG]

    to a Ninja 250
    [IMG]

and even an FZ1 look good.

    Ninja 650R in CO
    [IMG]

    Ninja 650R in UT
    [IMG]

Her favorite so far though has to be the BMW F650GS
    [IMG]

Sometimes I catch her just kicking back
    [IMG]

while other times she likes to take a few dirt naps!

She's a real good trooper when things don't go her way
    [IMG]

Things really didn't go her way here. :lol3
    [IMG]

    Or here
    [IMG]

Rocking the dirt bike in the snow!

Sometimes she chooses to ride questionable bikes
    [IMG]

She can cave up the twisties
    [IMG]

Oh yeah and not only does she ride, she wrenches on her own bikes too.

In the kitchen no less too. :D
    [IMG]

    Always smiling
    [IMG]

    Peace Out
    [IMG]

    or the ADV salute!

    Oh where to start.....:evil

This is Jeska's "at home bike"

Here is an action photo in Canada on her travel KLR650. We ride these bikes, store them in some distant location, then fly back and ride them to a new location, store, fly home and repeat. The bikes are currently in San Francisco after we rode from Seattle down the coast.

No pics from me but do like the two in the kitchen.. a dish towel for a shop rag? Right on!
She should remove the ring while wrenching. I know.

Smiling females, in gear on motorcycles, what a treat. :clap

I think the milk crates turned out to be something of a trademark, but the bags are well-loved. Saw the kids up here not so long ago!

She has put 20K on her 650GS, she loves to ride. 400 mile days are not uncommon for her.

Its funny you mention that. When my wife and I were dating and started talking about marriage, she said don't you dare waste money on a diamond ring. :huh A simple ring is fine, but its a bonus if there are a set of key attached to it. :deal

So, I ordered our motorcycle tire rings out of the aerostitch catalog. :lol3

And the keys that were attached were to the Pink Buddy Scooter

You maybe surprised some day! When we met 12 years ago Jeska turned down a chance to ride on the back of my Valkyrie!

She showed little to no interest in the bikes for the next 6 years. Then one day a little over 5 years ago she decided she wanted to ride:clap One of her favorite things to do now. We ride together weekly, all year long. We have done every state west of Colorado and Canada together!

I have been a hard core rider for over 32 years, I've put over 100k on more than one bike........and the most fun I have EVER had on a bike has been the last 5 years sharing it with Jeska:freaky

Top of the Bear Tooth Pass - August, 2010 - not prepared for this type of weather, but still smiling. This is her first "real" trip on the bike - she had been riding about 2 months at this point. We went from dallas to san antonio for dinner (about 400 miles) stayed over night and rode home the next day. I said if you can do that, you can go anywhere - so she said "when?"

another at the end of our trip this summer - rockin' the tutu - her idea of high viz (stepped up the gear a bit, at least we learn)
she's got 24,000 miles on that little aprilia in about 18 months. Just picked her up an xt250 - planning a Big Bend trip in the spring.

I call that true love. Nice post. Love those rings. Any man who will ride Bit -- er, Pillion with his lady on a pink scooter has got his man-issues well sorted. Just keep on keepin' on -- I think you've got the situation well in hand.. :clap

Good thread, thanks for starting it! :thumb

Gotta brag on my riding buddy, HayDuchessLives (whom I refer to as HayDee, as that's a lot easier to spell :D ). She's only been riding her own bike for about 4 years, but if you saw her you would swear she's been at it for much longer.

Her DR has taken her up the Dalton Hwy to Prudhoe Bay and to Inuvik on the Dempster in one ambitious summer, but we still make fun of it.

Not only does she ride this DR all over Alaska and the Yukon, but she also bought another one so she can take this to the South 48 and leave it for fly and rides.

In addition to being a great riding companion, she also lets me photograph her in goofy poses.

    Or playing with her food.

On a recent ride through Denali National Park, when we were restricted to a single vehicle, she rode pillion and quite capably handled the photographic duties, getting hundreds of great shots along the way.

During the winter, she chooses a different kind of adventure -
    [IMG]

Never a dull moment when you're around this gal. :clap :clap :clap

We don't do too much hard-core off road riding, but we DO get our share of travels in, she's game for anything that way:
