Interesting project.. you put it up on the jk-forum? and just curious.. why so small a tire? I have mine stock-no lift with 34's(toyo 295/75-17 open country mud's) and no rubbing on my 08. did go down to 285/70-17's for better fuel (nitto terra grapplers)
With that lift and the fender trim a buyer could put some serious tires on that thing! And if they want a fastback style true cage send them to RROR in chambersburg Pa.. he builds nice cages.. in case thats a deal breaker.. you know where to send them.. looks great tho!

Thanks! I had originally put skinny-tall tires on it, 285/75-16s. The 32s were the next step up. I didn't want a monster, just a Willys kinda look. If I could have found a thinner tire in 32-33 it would be on it. I wanted that classic look, I even had chrome centercaps for it from Wheel Vintiques but they corroded, show pieces not intended for the winters it sees.

The next guy has room for alot of tire and the gears should allow anything within reason for street. Thanks for the tip on a cage builder, I will keep that handy. :freaky

These are my old tires. I leave them in front of my house for free and the guy next door takes them and tries to sell em on CL. Last time they were listed with a pic and it was taken in front of his garage door.:lol3
A great deal considering there are at least a few knobs left on the rears and the fronts are totally wasted. :huh

    Hi,
I'm interested in the tires but was wondering if you could answer a few questions?

How many knobs do the tires have?
What is the circumference of each tire?
What type of material is the tire made of?
What are the DOT numbers off of the tires?

If you could measure the knobs that would be great too!
Looking forward to hearing from you, I will be up that way for work this weekend.
    Thanks!

E-mail sent = waiting for reply! :rofl

Due to an international relocation, It is with sadness that I need to sell my street legal and fully adventure ready 2007 Yamaha WR450. I can only take one bike and the BMW F800 GS is going back to its's fatherland (Germany) wit the move.

Clean and clear street title in hand and ready for pick-up and a new home.

He replied to my e-mail but only sent pics, Buzz is throwing away fairly decent tires. Get a knobby knife and you could keep running them suckers. I dont know how to send pics over from email. He didn't fall for the bait though.

The side knobs on the fronts are all split from the carcass and just roll over. One of the rear tires isn't as chunked as the other one.
At $70.00 a pop and the type of riding we do, like like fresh tires.

Yeah, I just threw out an mT16 that had five rides on it! I know what you mean, it's cheap insurance of sorts. This kid Brandon is a real business man he is!
