With the economy and--hopefully--the failure of the ABW2 will result in a glut of arms. But then again, I've been hoping for that since 2007. :eek1

Hopefully I get the same confirmation soon :D I didn't buy a complete rifle, though, just a full M4 upper. I'm sitting @ about 65 days for my order.

    15 rounds in 1 shotgun. :D

MrsDonkeys loves it! She has proclaimed it to be her snuggle buddy when I'm overseas.

news flash........went to go see if the local ammo shop had any pistol ammo and they had all calibers in stock!!!!

The crazy part is that I bought a bunch of boxes of 10mm because it was cheaper than 9mm, same prices as .40, cheaper than .45, and same price as .380 :eek1

    So.... What's it worth?

Remington 700 in 25-06 topped with a Bushnell Elite 3x9. Seller says he thinks it's 8 y/o and knows it's never been fired.

Bass Pro Shops is listing the glass at either $280 or $360 depending on specs.

Having a hard time pricing the gun. Too many different 700 options to be clear.

$650.00 its still a used gun, it's somewhat of an oddball caliber, scopes and slings are like farkles on a bike. When he tells you the scope is worth 300 tell him to keep it and offer $350.00 for the rifle if you want a 25-06.

He'd been asking me to buy it for awhile. Looked at it last night, and threw $300 at him.

    He took it.

    :nod

You got a heck of a bargain! .25-06 is a flat shooting round, and you shouldn't have too hard a time finding it. Accuracy of the round is well known, too.

Every local wally world I've been to around here has it on the shelf, everytime I check on ammo.

In my humble opinion ---that is not a factory stock -- looks custom-- that said--- still a great buy as noted.

I believe that is a 700BDL, those had the Monte Carlo stock, which would make the stock factory correct.
The 700ADL did not have the Monte Carlo stock.
BDL sold for a little more than the ADL.
I am going on my aging memory from 5 years as a retail buyer in the gun and sporting goods business, that was back in the 80's.

Wow, any way you slice it, that's a good deal.

IIRC, that's a necked down .30-'06 cartridge - aught to shoot flatter than hammered whale shit. Course, it's going to kick like the '06 too. That's a nice classic stock design as well with the Ebony forend.

You could hang it on the wall and just look at it.

Yea you stole it. It looks like a BDL, which is the drop floor plate..but it has that little notch above the bottom metal. Detachable magazine? :scratch
The 25-06 is great,I have built customs in 25, 6mm, 6.5mm,and 338-06. They all will shoot!
