I really Like the color. What made you decide to go with a newer bike, and is there something you preferred about the 800 over the 800XC? Are you going to get luggage for it? Hope it serves you well.

The color is actually called venom. My wife and I laugh about it.

I decided to go with the 800 because I am a new rider and still learning how to ride. I was honest about my abilities and felt the 800 would serve me well for the riding I do. I think it would still be good for the occasional fireroad, to be honest.

And YES I will be getting panniers. Eventually.

Fisher Cut Bait, Nice bike and yes it will go down the dirt just fine. My Triumph dealer in Missouri put TKC 80s on his demo right off the bat. It road real nice down gravel roads.

Not sure if I posted this one yet. Over 60,000 miles on her now, and I love her even more now than I did the day she went her first mile.

Thats what i want to see! how are the Roadie's doing "sans pavement" riding?
I like the idea of tubeless wheels but if its really gonna suffer off pavement then...the Tiger is on my short list but which one is a toss up.

Thanks, though it does need a bath and some crash bars. Wanted to take some pics by Buttermilk Falls but the road was gated off. Turned around and followed the dirt road back to the Park Service Rd. Had a late breakfast at Layton Deli, they're open again.:clap

    Sorry, no pics
