Beautiful Norway. Very nice. As for the bike wish mine were the black and white checker. The 06 is to garish for me. Maybe I'll repaint it.

First of all, no adoptees accepted! Besides, I'm only 45, so it'd be extra weird. :nod We've actually downsized in the past year, selling off a few scoots to simplfy things a bit. So now we have...

Yes, it is bright and yes, I color matched the paint job I put on it to the sleeves on my riding suit!

This bike was trailered from wisconsin, but once I got it to Colorado, the riding was great.

Givi for mounting a E36,360, 460 or Maxia case :1drink The bike was picked up as a demo in 2002 and not ridden much that first season. 2004 & 2005 saw the owner head to the west coast from her home in Ontario and back. Not bad for a lady who learned how to ride when she was 55 :clap She is ready to move up, but can't find anything to move up to. I was hoping she would look at the Wee Strom, but I think she want's to stick with a Beemer. Too bad that 800ST is delayed, as I think it would be a decent bike for her

I lived with it for one season, then tore it down and painted it last winter. I had never painted a motorcycle before, so it was slow going, but came out pretty well. I also got a Corbin saddle, added Hepco Becker engine guards, PIAA lights, and a carbon fiber dash.

Yeah, I thought I was ready to "move up" as well, but every time I hop on my Dakar I have such a great time that I can't pull the trigger. I think one more season on it, then I'll look at a 950 Adventure more seriously.

The 800 is delayed? Wonder why?

Max, you are officially not allowed to post any more pics of that bike. It is way too cool, and makes me want to drop way too much $ on my own Dakar. :D

Those are the new Kenda K777 / K778 FIM enduro tires. Can't really tell you how they perform though. The front has done 600 mtrs at walking pace, and the rear is even newer.

Edit: Sorry Flux, the devil made me do it....
