$145 I believe for the billet handgaurds/top clamp/shields, and extra for the mirrors (I don't remember how much- check the site.) I also added the tall bottom clamps.

:thumb Worth every penny for the set I have on my 525... I'm hoping they work just as well for the 950.

+1 on the Cycra's. Most other brands tend to twist / move in the event of the inevitable fall but the Cycra's stay put.

Those look nice boyz, are you happy with how the cables routed or do they rub on the mounts?

Looks like you guys went with the rise also?

How do you like the mirrors, can you see anything in them....

I have a a few question for the owners of the Highway Dirt Bikes handgaurds and mirrors owners.

    • How are the mirrors on the street with lots of traffic?
    • How do they stack up to the stock mirrors as far as safety, or quality of rear-view?
    • They look adjustable. Are they adjustable enough?

This post is my introduction to Highway Dirt Bikes products and I am impressed with the products that I am seeing here.

The photos from inmates here are better than the ones on the Highway Dirt Bikes web site.

I have had used the plastic folding Acerbis mirrors on other dualsport bikes and hated them on the street. I couldn't see a thing in them, too low, and got a blurred view of my arm. I always end up with the stock mirrors on my bikes for safety reasons. I commute to work every day.

I am sorry to hi-jack this post.

I haven't ridden the 950 with them yet, but I've had them on my 525 for awhile. They are smaller than the stock mirrors, and in a different position that requires you to look down a bit more than with normal mirrors, but they are not like the acerbis or similar mirrors that are just to fufill the letter of the law- they actually work! I'd say for pure visibility they are maybe less useful than the stock, but much more than any other "dirt bike" mirrors I've seen. I'm headed to baja soon and will comment on how they work for "street riding" after getting back.

the risers that im using are rox risers. so i had to use the suzuki 106mm top clamp which worked just fine. i was a little concerned about the folding mirror, but so far i havnt had any problem. they are in a different location form the stock position. so i have to remember to look by my hands. no biggie....
i commute every day also on my adv also. and the mirrors work just fine.
its nice to just flip them in when splitting lanes.
i havnt crashed with them yet, but they are super solid and seem like they will crash well.
the top clamp is cool too, because it has holes for switches and lights. i may move my octane switch to the clamp and install an idiot light also to tell me when my fans are on.
oh! and no cable rubbage at all.

I just bought billet replacement for handlebar caps from highway dirtbikes. I had them not mill it for switches,, instead I had billet drilled for Garmin GPS mount from KTM. I just received it in mail and if it works like I think it will,, it will mount GPS over triple clamps and be in perfect position..I will post pictures if it works and then move on to HDB protectors..:evil

I had a question for the guys at Highway Dirtbikes. I sent it to them and Paul responded very quickly (Sunday evening).
Very nice. They care about our needs.

Oh Oh Oh... I know. It's the handlebar clamp for the bottom of the risers. :D

I sure do like these handgaurds. Maybe NEXT Christmas.
