2014 SX dates. 3/8 is Daytona it is not listed because it is not a Feld race. I have 3 races within a 4 hour drive. I don't know if that is a good thing or not. Arlington TX is an East race and Huston TX is West.
Wow!!! every 13 months on the 450R valves and 3 months on the 250f's for me, Honda clutches were bullet proof
Since the 450 title is wrapped up RV, RD, Barcia, Canard, Brayton, Weimer, and Short should all ride the 250's tonight just to get a chance to ride a different bike.
Carmichael (GOAT) did that at Steele City to help Brownie win the championship and get the record for most 1-2-5 wins from the Bomber.
So it's okay for the 450 guys to jack up the points in the 250 class but not the other way around? :huh
Those titanium valves have that hard coating,on a hard ridden 450 or screaming 250 once the coating goes away the valve needs replacing. That was 1 adjustment session for an A class cross country CRF450R raced by a young friend,he did all his own wrenching and didnt want to take a chance on a DNF. He would adjust em once, run it till it showed signs of needing another adj and take it apart for R&R. Pro Circuit has some nice valves, supposed to last longer go faster. 367.00 in actual American dollars for each valve.:eek1
Cool story on supercross bikes by Kevin Cameron. http://www.cycleworld.com/2013/04/18/superbikes-of-supercross-racing-technology-vs-costs/ I hope tonights racing is good!
I agree the 450r wasn't too bad a valve job once every year I thought that was fair but the 250f was hard to take a would get 100 miles after the valves went to 0 the first time and then the valves are junk, all intakes I did have a few DNF on the 250 because of the valves

was out at Walden Playboys open practice today. they have a Pro Am tomorrow. Hope to see some of the hot local A riders squaring off. saw yet more examples of kids on 65cc bikes who are faster than I can ever hope to be. but it's all good. I get a big kick out of being out there and when they wave to me when they go by (to the old guy who posts pictures of them on Facebook) it's all somehow worth it. Camera is acting up, Nikon D4 here I come..
Samantha Fritz on her brand new 2013 Honda 250 working on the second part of a double double with the 2nd double being much bigger. She ran through that section 10 times in a row just to get it right, I'm sure for tomorrow's race. This girl ROCKS, her dad runs Hurricane Hills MX in northeast PA. She rides college boy and B class. she may not win but she sure doesn't finish last.
