Here on Salt Spring Island I toiling with the ideal of a every day bike show as the local car show is only set up for cars. any thing bike or two to three wheels parked in a row in the park and just having a good time chatting with everyone,

Yo! Payner here, just checking in to see what's up on the Island! I never had a bike when I lived there and now I'm wishing it wasn't such a big ride (on the DR650) to get there and back... great roads fer sure.

If I can get the DR650 out there some time I'd love to hook up with some of you for a bit of a run on the logging roads and such. I'll definitely check in here if I can find the time to ride out there.

For the time being I'll satisfy myself with the BCBTR again this year. If you're coming east for that, it would be great to get together for a brew.

A summer trip would be great! But.....what about the rest of the year. I do day trips in the winter, I try for milder dry days but I also own rain gear.

well sitting here on Salt Spring today be out riding for the snow over the weekend and today its sunny out time for pictures taking now. We got some hill calles mountains here and nice roads to zing around on if any one cares.

..signing in (Langford), Victoria...will be heading back that way soon...no ETA yet though...will be s l o w l y making my way back to Beautiful BC within a week from Belize...even though I'm on a 650 it has been a great adventure...besides..I can barely pick it up anyways...how would I manage an 1150 or 1200?...

I wouldn't consider not doing it and I commute yr round from Colwood to the Airport.

Missed 15 days commuting in 09 and 7 so far in 2010.
