I like my 3/4 lid - I use it with a visor so that I dont have the need for a shield on my heritage.

There you go, that's my current choice. I love it because on longer rides i wear the chin bar but on really hot days or late in the day when my chin starts feeling a little cramped in I pop off the chin bar and go 3/4 with it for a little while. I have been planning to try it with the face shield off and my MX goggles for DS riding, but haven't gotten that far yet.

I wear a full face helmet when riding any of my motorcycles except the Electra Glide. For whatever reason I get a lot of noise, almost a resonance, with a full face on this bike. I tried different windshield heights to no avail. Maybe one of those shields that swoop way back would help? Anyway I wear an Arai 3/4 with a small visor and Panoptics eye glasses.

    3/4 Bell with a comp shield, unless the weather's bad and/or cold...then it's a full-face Shoei.

Now and again I ride my wifes HD and usually throw on my Aria XD or my HJC full face.

I just about pulled the trigger on a used Road King this spring and was wondering the same thing. A full face looks wrong to me on a Harley, but after my last accident even a 3/4 seems awfully unprotected. Will look into the N43's if the Harley bug bites again.

    My last helmet:

Schubert C3 ... Light, well ventilated and couldn't care less about looking "right" on a Harley or not.

    Thanks Aghartha.

Like I said, this helmet doesn't look too bad on a Harley. ....Or is it this Harley doesn't look too bad with this helmet? :D
