Hello Brothers! i'm back to report to you how the moving ahead is going!
The time is accelerating again and again..No rush but that's how I feel the time around, then i stop and have meditative analysis of the conditions..

So let's go to look at some work..

one week before i installed a sight tube..
Installed new wheel bearings , seals
installed front end with BRP submount
    [IMG]

i ordered 22mm dust seal and took the full speedo mechanism off ...

My good old friend ground out new collars for me
    [IMG]

    I cleaned the frame
    [IMG]

    BRP submount and front end
    [IMG]

installed hot grips with koso adjuster and scott grips
    [IMG]

    HDB handguards
    [IMG]

My Xr has another master cylinder which I think is from TDM or other..So I relocated one hole for HDB switch holder installation and tapped the hole.

At this week I've been busy following

Installing new bearings not OEM but i think better than old ones)

Next it was fixing some issue like swingarm linkage frictions..
I tried to fix it with a very slim chrome stainless steel plate about 0.25 mm
Also i bought new linkage in nice condition on ebay, my one was eaten.

    all was greased..

After that I had a chance to install KTM fan with therm switch..
I wanted to make it simple but made it difficult))) I cut old brackets from body and made new ones from alu plate and welded them on.

For the switch i found a good solution in this forum. I used a trail tech adapter.

I found time for the tank bracket! Thanks and big respect to Hodakaguy for the idea and work on it! I used this solution and built the same one from stainless steel metal..

bushings and washers was made from poliuretan
    [IMG]

Installing new hi performance thermostat ordered from xr's only
    and silicone hoses kit

THANKS FOR LOOKING! To be continued...

Hello Guys!..I'm still here ) Time is still rushing...And i spend time on a new wiring harness, rebuilding the rear shock and making some small things on the bike..
I made a new harness from two old ones and new thicker wires.
I have been thinking about a new scheme for some time, but started to make it freehand) and the scheme remained in my mind..

I Took one out from the stator to DC which powered Power let , KTM Fan, Hot grips and all around stock lighting
The second Out is for AC 100w BD Headlight through Relay..
All sockets and relays were mounted behind Headlight..

Last parts arrived to me several weeks ago...so rear shock was reworked and the gas filling is still waiting

Made new peg studs from hardened bolts

These are my thoughts about some wind screen...first pattern.

It Was one of the most beautiful days in the year ! All around is silent ) The System and people were sleeping..
And i was glad to do some work on my project..

But back to several days before..
I continue working on wires and lights, and i made some dimmer for Fog Led light with parallel switch(I have direct handle bar low beam selection on 100% power) on two selections Hi 70% and low 30% of full power (30W) I Think it will be used for camp parking light or other needs. This Led will go onto RAM mount system for full 360 degrees usage.

The Shock was filled with nitrogen gas, and mounted onto the bike..

Installed a new Sumo clutch, I thought it was made in Japan but it turned out to be china, only japanese design..ebay seller cheated with the description!
So I will check it on the way))

The Cover was part polished and varnished ..I like natural wear)

strengthened the sub frame a little
    [IMG]

Built some guard for the chain guide
    [IMG]

    packing wires and blocks
    [IMG]

Now making an oil tank/storage...for this process i fixed some of my mistakes with tune welder and started to use the pedal..
Everything is experience! I'm glad to learn)

    Checked for leaking..

Fixed old mount holes with epoxy )improvements are not worse than new ones)

    it's almost complete!

One thing about this Exhaust system! I used T4 slip on before.. Now it's a Full system and the difference is great! This pipe is quieter and the bike starts very smoothly and easily.. I think this construction gives more torque to bottom ,and keeps more pressure flow in exhaust tract, also i used not drilled side filter cover.
