Once in a while. I'm usually only there during the work week and my hours don't leave many opportunities to get out. Next month I have week long class on days and will have my nights free.

Blaine thanks so much for setting up this training day. Not only did I learn a ton, I met a bunch of nice and extremely knowledgeable people. Having just moved to ATL it was great meeting everyone.

The ride back home was a DREAM!!! I really would never have guessed my bike could run so smooth.

These were the only good pics I took (was too busy leaning stuff).

    Thanks again.

I'm thinking you should have another in the late spring or early summer. I need an excuse to head back south on the bike!:deal

I can see the conversation now:

Border guard: Where are you going?
    Me: Atlanta GA.
Border guard: What is the purpose of your trip?
Me: I'm going to get my carbs synchronized and chew the fat with a bunch of people I know on the internet.
    Border guard: Step inside sir..
    :rofl

Yeah, ya'll hit the stuff I need to do, carb sync, valves. Unfortunately, training a couple of young puppies took precedence yesterday. Next time!

    Let me 'splain sumpthin:

I have benefitted so much from other people showing me and teaching me stuff. I got a chance to show some new guys how to do a simple valve check. It's a simple operation, and as we all know no other adjustment/check makes such a difference.

I goofed when I told y'all the motor turns counterclockwise; please note that it turns clockwise. Also, I should have told you that one checks your valves on a COLD engine.

Anyway, thanks for watching on and for your enthusiasm and for your great questions. Jenna, Blain, Brad, Fred, Omar, Dan, Rick... I learn so much from you. I'm glad I had the chance to give back just a little bit.

Next tech day's at my place. Holla!

    Len,

I'm in for the night and am about to apply what I learned by checking the valves and points on the 100s. Hopefully tomorrow I can check the timing then play with the carbs and eliminate the off idle stumble.

I've spent most of my waking hours since that tech day looking at pictures of, and reading about, Buell M2 Cyclones. Thanks for letting me ride it.

Blaine, thanks for the opportunity to hang out and share some airhead moments with everyone.

Fred, You can take pictures off my R100R all day if they come out like this one - it almost looks clean!

While he was problem-solving the loose center valve cover stud issue on the 75/6 I heard Jonathan Sharpe, President of the BMW Motorcycle Club of Georgia say that they were planning a tech day (not sure on when....) and that everyone would be welcome - keep an eye out for that.

I finally got around to applying some of the good stuff from our tech day. Let's do it (at least the beer part:-) again before it gets too cold.

All right, my Airhead chunkulators -

I'm getting a new front end for my R65 from Brad, and maybe even a front wheel. I have a set of heads to install, so let's do this.

What are youse guys up to on Saturday, February 2nd?
