Here are some pictures, Enjoy and stay tuned for more How bike looked like when i bought it ------------------------------------------------- Project :
wow...talking about going into details. Your writing is great. and your country makes me sick....so damn good looking.
Nice example bike but needs knobblies to be a true Dakar racer What's the scoring on the tip of the cam lobes from?
Hi there, The bike will have knobbies but its just example of the color look can you please explain closer what you mean about the cam?
Looks like your cam lobes surfaces are pitted. IMO I would replace the cam but see what the other members have to say.
these are some pictures that show how much pleasure is traveling through Norway for one I started my project.enjoy more to come later
IMPORTANT: I would warn anyone with 950-990 adventure with coolant leak, especially if unable to find leak. when the water pump shaft is worn, coolant leaking inside the engine, but can not see any difference in oil, so my opinion, as a car mechanic, oil filter will become clogged, because the engine has poor lubricating and going to get a cam shaft damage same like my did. That is why I recommend replacing the water pump every 20 to 30 000 km, do not wait for the engine damage.Replace the water pump is no problem, and costs no more than 50-60 usd
