Any one have a subframe for sale or pictures of same for a 2007 triumph rocket ? I am trying to marry a hannigan asto 2+2 side car to the triumph, and have little knowledge other then what I read. any help or advise is appreciated. thanks in advance.
We make a sub frame for the Rocket 3, we also offer triple tree's to lower the steering effort with the sidecar. We just delivered a Rocket 3 sidecar rig to a customer on Tuesday, we were able by making some custom spacers get a 245 wide automotive tire on the rear of the bike. These have appeared a number of times on ebay UK , he has been trying to sell them for around 6 months . I`m sure he`d take an offer . Might be a cheaper option for you even with shipping costs . http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Leading-L...pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item3f31e88571
Agree...probably makes the most sense. Note that these bike beg for a trail Reduction. There are variations in the trees with different models though. We recently installed trees purchased elsewhere (not Hannigan) on one and had to do quite a bit if machine work to make them work at all. So, if you order trees make sure you get them from a source that knows what you have and knows what they need to do to make the trees fit. We have Two Rocket III projects in house now. (One with a new champion escort and the other with one of our Bullet GT sidecars.) Both will be getting Antiswaybars and should be able to get around quite well. They do make excellent sidecar tugs when done up properly. And, yes, a car tire will go right on the rear wheel with no modifications required.
