Joe! Omg omg omg! Tell us about the bike! Apparently you haven't heard, according to all the "experts" in the 1190 thread, the bike is completely incapable of going anywhere without bottoming out and exploding! I want to see LOTS of pics! LOTS of info on how you like the bike, how it handles, how it works on gravel, etc. and LOTS of info on what mods you make to the bike! Oh, and pics of your trip too! Awesome!
OMG that's exciting! I guess this is you on this pic from a KTM brochure isn't it? Can't wait to read your reports! HDen
The 1190 was available yet. Be sure and give us lots of rider feed back on the new machine. Good luck!
Welcome to AdvRider Joe! After the LWR fiasco, KTM has finally figured out what the good marketing is all about, it was about time. Good luck with your trip, keep us apraised with the good, bad and the ugly and post a lot of pictures. What are you going to do about the poor gas in Africa, do you have a custom fuel and ignition map to deal with that? Other than that, I'm in.
