Since I get my licence back soon I need to insure my bike since insure my ride cancelled my insurance. It seems most insurance don't insure you for 5 years. So who actually insure you after a suspention. I've had 1 ticket in. 15 years of riding 34 years old on a vfr800. Just a 6 month roadside suspention Sent from my Stream using Tapatalk 2
what did you loose yr license for?...you say 5 years insurance dont touch...was that drink driving or speeding?? as im in insurance y i asked
Not true Stormy. Son just got his licence back and had to declare the suspension and his premium is dearer for the next 3 years.
Which insurance? All the ones I've looked at say we won't insure anyone who's had a licence in the last 5 years Sent from my Stream using Tapatalk 2
Ill ring them on monday. Seem a all the bike specific insurance won't insure me. Nrma do at 800 bux. Shannons. Insire my ride. Famous won't and a few others Sent from my Stream using Tapatalk 2
AAMI and GIO would insure my son. GIO would have increased premiums for 5 years and AAMI for 3 years. You just have to notify them of the time of the suspension eg: January 2013 meaning you will have increased premiums for 3 or 5 years from then. Not from when you get your licence back.
yer the dedicated motorcycle insurers will ask you and if you say no and u have a crash etc, they will check and iif u have they wont honor claim as you lied when took out insurance. However the bigger companies do, RAcv do as well and don't even ask you if you have lost your licence. They don't even ask you if you have a criminal offense. but you will pay for it in the premiums . i lost mine and had to have no insurance for 3 years as same...just cldnt get anyone to take me..luckily, no claims and now insured
I provided a full traffic history to QBE, with 2 suspensions. They have paid out a 5k claim when I binned the Beemer. Cost me around $500/ year premium
farg, i did there online qoate, it started with we have sent you a text and it just ended with, you are a preferred customer, we will call you.
Previously my insurrance was around the 400 buck a year mark. but ehres the list ive made so far AAMI 1,046 value 12600 NRMA 861.93 Value 15,990 Qbe 748 13,000 – + 4000 riding gear Swann Maxi Rider Comprehensive 971.93 15750) they had a sports bike cheaper policy which doesnt allow people with previous licence suspentions.) Youi – Youi – 726 14000 agreed + 2600 accessories Gio – Cant Find Bikes/Dont Do Bikes RACQ - Cant Find/Dont Do bikes Insure my Ride No Shannons No Famous/Arista No
QBE promise to bet other prices so shop around before you talk to them. Play ya cards close to your chest and listen to thier offer first
cheapest so far but they said they cant insure the bike for more than i paid for it even with the accessories added onto it. so 13,000 was the most they would pay. and only when i get my licence back not a minute before
well i think youi is the cheapest by 20 bucks, but have a 90 day 1000 extra excess on new policies, and no cover what so ever for unlisted drivers, not an unlisted driver excess. so if somebody does decide to borrow your bike and crashes it, it be very expencve. qbe is the next cheapest one, although only insure it for 13000. anybody ive missed that i havnt thought off in my list?
