Hwy 87 from Sabine Pass to High Island, Texas

    South Padre Island, Texas .... far from anything
    I finished my 400 mile Unlitter kayak tour along the Texas coast and now I gotta go pick up my yak still stashed in Port Arthur. I figured I'd drag up my wr250f (street legal of course) and ride that old part of hwy 87 from sabine pass to high island (and back again). How's this route and is anyone up for this?

    I rode it a couple of years ago on my Dakar. It sure made me a better sand rider.

    Just watch out for the nude sunbathers as you get close to High Island. Trust me - those are not the type of people you want to see nekkid.
