Came across this in Nemo's Dnepr resurrection thread: http://www.ural-zentrale.de/product...as-filled-suspension-strut--original-NTC.html It looks like for 45 Euros, I should want that. But what does it mean, "Delivery contents 1 damper without spring"? Anyone know?
Not sure if this shock is complete?? If so there must be a error... I want one for Christmas. Let me know if you find anyone info.
It sounds like it might not include the spring, but then it says it's "blue and yellow" and only the spring is yellow :huh and the spring does not appear to be sold separately. I'm dumbfounded.
It's a Chinese made damper supplied without the spring - probably using the original spring. Look at the damper tube - it's yellow.
Sounds sketchy, but I wonder if it would make a good replacement for the squeaky bedspring on my sidecar if outfitted with a stiffer aftermarket spring.
